In this informal talk, Dr. Chris Goguen of Penn State Hazleton will discuss his research on the veery, a migratory songbird, that he conducted within the park. Dr. Goguen will share what he has learned about veery nesting habits and nest predators using video cameras at nests. He will also describe his work using radio telemetry to study the behavior and survival of veery fledglings during the first few weeks after these young birds leave their nests.
