Join your DCNR Park Naturalist and local conservation partners to get hooked on fishing as an awesome lifetime outdoor hobby. Try your hand with exhibit of fishing equipment, local fish identification, knot tying and casting geared towards families. Visitors are invited to stop by while hiking the adjacent Multi-Use Trail. Fishing licenses and trout stamps are required for everyone 16 and up. Bring your fishing gear and bait if you have or we will provide some to share as well. Special thanks to PA Fish and Boat Commission, DelCo Anglers and Trout Unlimited for their support of our awesome Commonwealth fisheries and other conservation programs. Registration not required. NOTE: 2026 PA FISH FOR FREE DAYS are Sunday, May 24 (week prior for ages 16 and up) and Saturday, July 4. This is a special instruction day aimed at youth under 16 (as well as anyone else with valid fishing licence and trout stamp). If you are under 16 years of age license is NOT required but you must be with adult to participate in park education programs.
