the unofficial start of the birdwatching season is the last Saturday in April called National Go Birding Day, but, here at the park, we will be starting the day after National Go Birding Day, hence the name The Day After National Go Birding Day Day! Many of our migratory songbirds will be arriving at the park and filling the woodlands with their melodic songs and displaying their beautiful spring plumages! Come take a relaxing stroll around the park and learn how to identify these eastern songbirds by sight and sound. Bring the kids to make pinecone bird feeders after the birdwatching program!
