Anywhere you go in PA, you won’t have to travel far to find bubbling streams, beautiful forests, and meadows.  But what about the bedrock that makes up the mountains, the hills, the cliff faces?  What makes up the bones of PA and how did all this get here?  Join us for a hike through High Rocks as we discuss the state’s geological history. 

     For this hike, we will be walking on rocky, sometimes steep terrain with exposed roots and stones on the trail.  Please wear shoes appropriate for hiking and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water.  Leave pets at home for this program.  We will be hiking at a moderate pace for about 1.5-2 miles. Registration is required.
