 opes at some of the key features of the night sky - planets\, stars\, and 
 more. Under the guidance of our volunteers and staff\, embark on an amazin
 g telescope tour of the night sky. We'll run the scopes\, you'll enjoy the
  view! \n\n \n\n🌌Milky Way Visibility (if clear skies):  Average\, most
  visible between roughly 11 PM and 12 AM. Visibility poor before/after tha
 t due to lingering sunlight and the rising moon. \n\n--\n\n🗺️Where: U
 se entrance here\, park in the lot. Walk around the hill to the viewing fi
 eld\, the Night Sky Public Viewing Area.\n\n💼Bring: Red-light flashligh
 t\, a jacket and blankets\, and a folding/camp chair.\n\n🚫Leave at home
 : Pets (only trained service animals allowed)\, alcohol\, recreational dru
 gs. \n\n--\n\n➡️ Check the Clear Sky Chart or AccuWeather Stargazing F
 orecasts for 48-hour forecasts of cloud cover and viewing conditions.\n\nA
 ll programs will be cancelled in the event of rain or thunder/lightning. \
 n\nWe ask that park visitors please leave their pets at home. Dim lighting
 \, large crowds and sensitive equipment do not create a pet-friendly envir
 onment. \n\nTelescopes available on a first-come\, first-serve basis for t
 he time listed. Availability is subject to staff/volunteer availability\, 
 weather conditions\, and crowd size limitations.
