World Rhino Day: Get To Know The Odd Toe

Celebrate World Rhinoceros Day by joining your DCNR Park Naturalist for a special endangered species exhibit along the Multi-Use Trail about odd-toed ungulates, including endangered rhinos, tapirs, zebras and wild horses. Learn how the order perissodactyla (odd-toed ungulates) are different from artiodactlya (even-toed ungulates) such as deer, antelope, bison, sheep and goats. Ridley Creek State Park is famous for odd-toed ungulates including the world champion race horses Man O' War, War Admiral and Sea Biscuit. Get to know the odd toe while taking a close up look at these and other amazing endangered creatures. Registration not required.
