Join your DCNR Park Naturalist for a special National Dog Day exhibit along the Multi-Use Trail to learn about the wild cousins of our best friends. Learn about how wild canines including fox, coyote and wolves are important and well adapted predators that help maintain the balance of nature. Discover which species are native to Pennsylvania, while taking a close up look at taxidermy, skulls, tracks and scat of these beautiful wild creatures that are the direct ancestors of our beloved household companions. While your canine companions are welcome to walk with you here in Ridley Creek State Park, please always remember that state law requires they are kept on a leash at all times and that you pick up after them. Doggie bags are available at trailside kiosks as well as trash cans for proper disposal. Registration not required.
