Swatara State Park Wildflower Hike(RESCHEDULED)
Join Naturalist Robin Tracey from Tuscarora State Park for a wildflower walk in memory of Dave “Big Owl” McSurdy at Swatara State Park on Sunday, June 15, 2025.(Rescheduled to July 6)
The trail is 7 miles in length and moderate. The trail runs parallel to Swatara Creek. We will be hiking down to the old steel bridge and crossing to make a loop down to the Bordner cabin. We will meet in the parking lot on Sand Siding Rd just off of Route 443 in Suedberg at 10:00 am. Bring a lunch and water. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and get along with other pets and people. Registration is required by calling Robin at 570-467-2506. Shine only.
