DESCRIPTION:Discover the Heritage Area from the water. Paddle from Columbia
  Crossing to The Zimmerman Center for Heritage to see and experience this 
 corridor of the Susquehanna River\, learn about history and ecology of the
  river and explore the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Tra
 il.\n\n$10.00 per person – includes your kayak\, paddle\, PFD\, transpor
 tation\, and guided tour from Susquehanna Heritage staff. Light refreshmen
 ts will be provided at the end of the paddle. Option of single or tandem k
 ayaks available. Personal kayaks not permitted.\n\nFor ages 12 and up\, un
 der 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Kayaking experience is not necessa
 ry but expect moderate physical exertion. Dress for the weather.\n\nThis i
 s a weather-dependent event. If the weather is inclement or the waters uns
 afe to proceed\, all registrants will be notified as soon as possible prio
 r to the beginning of the event and a full refund will be issued if cancel

 mbia River Park kayak launch\n\n10:30-1:00 pm – Paddle south along the S
 usquehanna River with guided tour and a stop along the way\n\n1:00 pm – 
 Pull out at The Zimmerman Center for Heritage\, light lunch/refreshments a
 nd overview of the house\n\n1:30 pm – Shuttle back to Columbia Crossing 
 River Trail Center
