What could be better than viewing the spectacular sunsets from Keystone Lake? Viewing the Delta Aquarid meteor showers right after! 

Bring your kayak, paddleboard, or canoe for a sunset float. We'll set off at 8:00PM towards our sunset spot, looking for wildlife along the way. Many crepuscular (active at dawn and dusk) animals call Keystone home including beavers and a multitude of bird species so it's a great time for wildlife watching. After sunset, we'll stick around a little longer, since the Delta Aquarid meteor showers will be at their peak on this night as well. 

All vessels must have a current launch permit which can be obtained from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's website or from the park office. Participants in state park programs are required to wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD for the duration of the program. It's also advisable to bring a light in the event that we are still on the water after dark.

This program is free, but registration is required so that we can keep a head count.
