Celebrate the Winter Solstice with this special yoga event. On the darkest day of winter, when day and night are equal lengths, we honor the dark and celebrate the light. What better way to connect with the seasonal shifts, then to hold space in a practice that bridges the time between sunset and nightfall.

Join us for a gentle yoga class in McConnell Hall in front of floor to ceiling windows facing the forest and birdfeeders. Enjoy luxurious stretches as the sky through the trees fades from sunset to dark and the candle glow flickers. Dress warmly and bring a yoga mat and firm blanket or large towel. Four battery operated votive candles will be provided for the corners of each person's mat with more throughout the room.

Registration is required for all participants. Spaces are limited, so please be sure you sign up and pay to finalize your registration spot. We will not be able to take walk up participants.

This class typically fills. Register early.
 
This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Nolde Forest. All payments are final.

**This program may be cancelled if there is inclement winter weather. In that scenario, participants will receive a full refund.**
