Summer Storybook Stroll – July & August 2026
Bring your little ones for a short walk in the park while enjoying a story along the way!

This season’s featured book is “A Chip Off the Old Block,” written by Jody Jensen Shaffer and illustrated by Daniel Miyares.

Join Rocky—a plucky pebble with a lot of grit—on his journey to find out if he fits in with any of his famous rock-formation relatives!

Directions:
This self-guided stroll begins at the end of Landis Road. Park at the last cul-de-sac and proceed through the gate to follow the old road to the lake and back (½ mile roundtrip).

The trail is paved, making it little feet and stroller friendly. Book pages are posted along the way.
