As the sun sets on the last official full day of summer, enjoy the warmth of a campfire at Oil Creek State Park.  This casual gathering is a come-and-go as you please event with the park's Environmental Educator as your host.  We will sit around the fire, gaze at the evening sky, listen for nighttime animals, share stories, and play campfire games. 

Bring-you-own chair and snacks.  Warm apple cider provided.  Alchololic beverages not permitted. 

Free.  No registration.  All ages welcome.

Road Detour Notice:  Petroleum Center Bridge in Oil Creek State Park is closed to all vehichle traffic.  Access to the Cross-Country Ski/McCrea Farm Area is from PA-227.  Follow detour signs from PA-227 onto Petroleum Center Road.  You cannot access this area from the main park enterance off Route 8.
