Sturgeon Moon Hike

Come join the park naturalist for a hike around the lake with a rest to watch the moonrise.  Along the way, we will learn why the August moon is called the Sturgeon Moon and the other names that other cultures gave to the August full moon.  The hike is along the easy Lakeside Trail.  Bring a flashlight for later in the hike. This program is limited to 24 participants.  Participants must pre-register by contacting the park office at 717-485-3948.  All participants must wear masks during the program and they will need to maintain social distancing.  Families that live under the same roof, may be closer, but should maintain social distance from others not in their group
