Stream Bugs, Minnows, and Crayfish

Join us for a relaxing afternoon on the stream while we search Macros to see what lives at Yellow Creek. We will go into the stream and search for crayfish, mayflies, stoneflies, and maybe even catch some minnows.

Please wear old shoes to go into the stream and bring a dry pair, as well as a plastic bowl. Adult or guardian must accompany children. Best suited for ages 6 & up. Meet next to Lakeview Pavilion.   

Driving Directions from Park Office, 170 Route 259 Hwy, Penn Run, PA 15765:  Drive past the park office on Rt 259 and go 3/4 to 1 mile to Day Use Park Entrance, turn right, drive over a small bridge
