DESCRIPTION:Shake off the busy work week and start off Labor Day weekend wi
 th a hike on one of the park's lesser traveled trails.\n\nMeet the park na
 turalist at the Strawcutter Trail Head at 4PM. We'll hike Strawcutter trai
 l and look for birds\, insects\, tracks\, and other wildlife and signs\, w
 hile identifying the trees and plants that we find along the way. The park
  naturalist will also tell the story of the park's history and the role th
 at it played in our nation's labor movement along the course of the hike.\
 n\nThe Strawcutter Trailhead can be located by leaving the main park groun
 ds and heading to the corner of Pittsburgh Street and Strawcutter Road\, t
 he location of the Old Number 7 Schoolhouse. From there\, go north\, appro
 ximately a quarter of a mile and the parking area will be on the left hand
  side.\n\nThe trail is easy to moderate hiking\, with just a couple of ver
 y small steep hills to climb. Participants should wear comfortable clothin
 g with comfortable hiking footwear. Insect repellent is strongly encourage
