 LT - “Get Outdoors Pennsylvania” and enjoy this hike in the deep woods
  of Rothrock State Forest around Penn-Roosevelt State Park on Sunday\, Apr
 il 19\, 2020. Kevin Busko\, of the Mid State Trail Association\, will lead
  the hike\, with assistance from the Standing Stone Trail Club. The hike w
 ill follow the Mid State Trail (MST)\, Thickhead Mt Rd\, McKinney Trail\, 
 Tar Pit Trails\, then return to park. Meet at the Fireplace on the west si
 de of the lake. The hike is classified as “moderate\,” with rocky terr
 ain and elevation gain. \n\n“State Parks of Rothrock” is a new series 
 of monthly hikes in partnership with Greenwood Furnace State Park\, the Mi
 d State Trail Association\, and the Standing Stone Trail Club. The hikes a
 re designed to target a wide variety of experience levels\, from the casua
 l to serious hiker. In addition\, they will take place in the state parks 
 that are located in the Rothrock State Forest District.\n\nTo fully enjoy 
 the hikes\, be sure to dress for the weather\, with multiple layers of clo
 thing\, a hat and gloves\, and good\, waterproof\, insulated boots. Proper
 ly dressed\, you will stay warm and comfy. Bring water and a snack.
