Join the park naturalist at the Kell Visitor Center to learn how state parks have been utilizing fire as a management tool. This management technique is not only ecologically sound, but economically as well. You'll get an opportunity to view pictures of burns in several state parks (including Keystone!) and to view the succession that has occurred in the months following the burns. We'll end the session with a walk through some of the burned areas to see the life that has sprung back.
