Starwatch!
Update 7/17:
Sorry to say, but we haven't yet figured out how to make our telescopes work during a thunderstorm. Thus, we're going to have to cancel tomorrow's Starwatch. Between the heat, smoke, and now storms, we hope everyone continues to stay safe! ![]()
And at least we're getting all of this weather over with in July, so that by August 12's double-whammy of a partial eclipse and the Perseids meteor shower, we're all cleared up. That's how it works, right? See in you in August! ![]()

Join us for a Starwatch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot (Tohickon Boat Launch – Google Maps). Participation is free and open to the public. The astronomers from Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions.
July's Starwatch will feature a special pre-Starwatch talk and activities at 8:45 PM, with stargazing commencing around 9:15 PM.
Dress warmly and bring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them--or just bring yourself! We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.
Cloud/Raindate Saturday July 18th (Please check this website for updates in case the weather leads to postponement. Postponements, if any, will be communicated here by 5:00 PM on the day of the event.)
