Update 7/17: 

Sorry to say, but we haven't yet figured out how to make our telescopes work during a thunderstorm. Thus, we're going to have to cancel tomorrow's Starwatch. Between the heat, smoke, and now storms, we hope everyone continues to stay safe!

And at least we're getting all of this weather over with in July, so that by August 12's double-whammy of a partial eclipse and the Perseids meteor shower, we're all cleared up. That's how it works, right? See in you in August!

Join us for a Starwatch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot (Tohickon Boat Launch – Google Maps). Participation is free and open to the public. The astronomers from Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions.

July's Starwatch will feature a special pre-Starwatch talk and activities at 8:45 PM, with stargazing commencing around 9:15 PM.

Dress warmly and bring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them--or just bring yourself! We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.
