Stargazing at the Park

**Program is cancelled due to poor viewing conditions. Check the calendar for future stargazing programs**

Come out to the park after dark and take a tour of the night sky using our telescopes. Potential observing targets include the planets Jupiter and Saturn, as well as galaxies, star clusters, or nebulae. We'll also identify some summer constellations and bright stars. Feel free to bring your own telescopes if you have them!

This program is dependent on clear skies and will be cancelled in the event of rain or significant cloud cover. Notice of cancellation will be posted on this page by 6:00 pm.

Program location is the Valley of Concentration- the open grassy area across from the Visitor Center. Feel free to arrive and depart at any time during the session; the darker it gets the more we'll be able to see. Please be mindful of headlights when parking and use flashlights sparingly to preseve night vision (use red light if available).
