Squirrel Appreciation Walk

Squirrel Appreciation Day is a holiday which is celebrated on January 21st to honor squirrels and the contribution they make to the environment. On this day, people are encouraged to head out into the woods or at least, to their local park to look for squirrels. Join Presque Isle State Park Naturalists on January 22, 2022 (the day after Squirrel Appreciation Day) from 9:00-10:30am to take a walk, talk about and look for squirrels. The walk will be approx.1.5 miles long. Please dress for the weather. This program is suitable for all ages. There is no fee. Register by clicking the green button that says 'Register'. Please register by January 21. Location of the walk will be provided after registration. Registration is limited to 25 participants. Program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff.
