Spring Wild Flower Walk

***Registration is required for this program: please click the green "register" button to sign up for this program***

***Meeting location: Tohickon Valley Park, 127 Cafferty Rd, Pipersville, PA 18947 ***

Programs are subject to change at any time. COVID-19 guidelines must be followed. Social distancing is required and masks must be worn throughout the duration of the program. Hand sanitizer will be available. Individual sanitized equipment will be assigned to each family when necessary.

Join the park's naturalists for a leisurely trail hike to look for beautiful spring wildlfowers; this is a great time of year to find spring ephemerals such as Bloodroot, Trout Lily & Dutchman's Breeches!  This is also the time of year that migratory birds will be moving through the area, so we may get a chance to do some bird watching.

We will hike ~3.5 miles on uneven terrain with some elevation changes (hills) in search of wildflowers.  Please wear sturdy shoes, and bring plenty of water, a snack & a wildflower ID guide (if you have one).  There will be 12 pairs of binoculars to borrow or BYOB (binoculars!).
