Conservation volunteer and avid birder, David Kruel, will lead a bird walk on Saturday, May 6, at 8:00 am.  The walk will begin at Locust Lake State Park parking lot.   Dave will offer helpful information about how to identify the local and migratory songbirds by sight, song, habitat and behavior.  The walk is sponsored by the Schuylkill Conservancy.  Those attending are encouraged to bring along binoculars.  This is not a pet friendly walk.  Shine only. 

There will be two other bird walks in May also.  Thomas Buehl Jr. will lead a walk at 8:00 am at Locust Lake SP parking lot on May 13, 2023.  Shine only.  No pets.

Tonia Jordan will lead a walk on May 20, 2023 at 8:00 am meeting at the Locust Lake SP parking lot.  Shine only.  No pets.
