Spring Wildflower Walk

Wildflowers have been admired for their beauty and usefulness as foods and medicines for many generations.  Every  wildflower, from the elegant lady’s slipper to the common dandelion, has its own uses, stories, and magic. Discover the personality, folklore, and history of the season’s first blooms by joining park staff for this guided walk along one of Jennings’ trails.

This is a free program and no registration is required. For more information, call the Center at 724-794-6011.

The route contains some steps and uneven terrain but is generally easy. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least three days notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
