Join Sinnemahoning park staff for a fun-filled afternoon in nature celebrating all things Halloween! From games and crafts, to nature walks and spooky science, this day is sure to be a hoot!  Sweet treats offered to visitors in costume! 

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Owl Craft, Wildlife Center Classroom

Create an owl puppet while learning about the adaptations that make owls excellent night-time hunters. Indoor program. Best for families with children ages 4 to 10; older and younger siblings welcome.

1:30 PM to 2:30 PM Creepy Crawly Critter Quest, Meet at the Discovery Area near the Wildlife Center

Take a walk with park educators and learn about cool creepy critters along the way. Includes take-home craft.  Walk is about 1 mile over uneven terraine. Best for families with children ages 4 to 10; older and younger siblings welcome.

3:00 to 4:00 PM Spooky Science, Wildlife Center Classroom

Conduct your own spooky science experiments. Make your own slippery slime, grow a monster’s head, and more! indoor program. Best for ages 5 and up. Adults are welcome too!
