Spongy (Gypsy) Moth Scrape - Volunteers Needed!

We need your help!

Bald Eagle State Park and surrounding areas have been hit hard this year by the invasive spongy moth (formerly known as the “gypsy moth”). During this event, you will learn about this nasty invasive species and help eradicate them from a small portion of the park.

Every effort helps, so bring a friend if you can!

Meet at Schenks Grove Picnic Area (located above the swimming area).  Please email baldeagleee@pa.gov or call (814)625-9369 with questions or concerns.
