Jeri Jones of Jones Geological Services of Spring Grove and Red Lion Telescopes will partner to present a Solar Eclipse Party at Codorus State Park from 1:30 - 4:30 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024.  The partial eclipse will begin at 2:04 pm. The middle of the eclipse where the Sun will be covered by the Moon by 91% will occur at 3:21 pm. The eclipse will terminate at 4:25 pm.  

Various telescopes, binoculars and other solar viewing instruments will be setup to safely view the eclipse.  The Friends of Codorus State Park will distribute solar eclipse glasses for as long as supplies last.
