Snowshoe Cook Forest at Night: Fire Tower Road

Please bring your snowshoes and headlamps and meet at the Nuthole Cabin, located at the entrance of Ridge Camp, for an  evening 3 mile interpretive snowshoe program along Fire Tower Rd to Seneca Point.  Learn how to identify animal tracks in the snow and explore the Seneca Point cave as we snowshoe   under ancient hemlock & oaks in one of Cook Forest’s premiere old growth forests.  If snow conditions aren’t good, we’ll hike    instead.  Snowshoes are not required, although we will have a few pair on hand.  Hot chocolate and a luke-warm cabin will be   available to warm us up!
