Are you ready for some adventure?  Try out hiking on snowshoes!  A limited number of snowshoes are available for use at R. B. Winter State Park.  When there are 6 or more inches of snow on the ground, interested participants may borrow snowshoes on a first come, first served basis Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Park Staff will give a quick lesson then you may explore the park on your own!  A valid driver’s license must be provided in order to borrow.  Please find out snow conditions and make arrangements to borrow snowshoes by calling the park office at (570) 966-1455 Monday through Friday.  Sorry no weekend or holiday loans are available due to staffing limitations.
