(1/9/23) Update, based on expected snow-less conditions: 20 minute demo of different snowshoe types and how to choose the best snowshoes for you, followed by a nature walk in search of animal sign.
Intro to snowshoes/selecting snowshoes class: 1:00 PM – 1:20 PM,
Nature Walk: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM. Walk will be less than 1.5 miles on a crushed gravel path with slightly hilly terrain. Blaze orange hat or vest recommended for walkers.

Beat the winter blahs by getting outside! Marvel at the wonder of snow-blanketed landscapes, search for fresh animal tracks, and more. FREE program for kids and adults alike. Just wear sturdy winter boots and warm clothes.
Adult and youth sized snowshoes available to borrow for on-site use during the program. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment. No pre-registration required, free program.
Basic instruction will be given to people new to snowshoeing.

Guided Snowshoe: 2 PM – 2:30 PM.
