Silver Sciences: Ecosystem Exploration: Wetland vs. Stream

The second in this new series will allow you to investigate and explore two distinct ecosystems at Jennings, a wetland and a stream. Examine soils, plants, and animals in each area to discover the uniqueness and similarities between the two!

The Silver Sciences Series is designed for active seniors who enjoy outdoor activities and wish to expand their science and nature knowledge.

Activities will be adapted to lessen the need to stoop or bend but will require the ability to walk over uneven surfaces and terrain for distances of up to a half mile at a time. All equipment will be provided.

This program is FREE but pre-registration is required no later than July 26th. Register by clicking the green button to the right or by calling the Center at 724-794-6011.
