Silver Sciences: Ecosystem Exploration: Forest vs. Prairie

*A NEW program opportunity for active Senior Citizens!*

The first in this new series will allow you to investigate and explore two distinct ecosystems at Jennings, the forest and prairie.  Examine soils, plants, and animals in each area to discover the uniqueness and similarities between the two!

The Silver Sciences Series is designed for active seniors who enjoy outdoor activities and wish to expand their science and nature knowledge.  Activities will be adapted to lessen the need to stoop or bend but will require the ability to walk over uneven surfaces and terrain for distances of up to a half mile at a time.  All equipment will be provided.

This program is FREE but re-registration is required no later than June 24th.  Register by clicking the green button to the right or by calling the Center at 724-794-6011.
