Signs of Winter (beginner ASL hike!)

Join a state park naturalist on this ~2 mile hike along uneven terrain with a few steep hills. Along the way we will learn some American Sign Language for things we are seeing while out hiking. 

This hike is geared towards those who want to enjoy nature while also learning something new! American Sign Language is a beautiful visual language that expands our ability to communicate with those who are Deaf or hard of hearing. This is a beginner ASL hike. Our voices will be used. 

Please be sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring a water bottle. This is a family friendly hike.
