No staff as a guide? No problem!

Enjoy a couple of self-guided hiking opportunities. Not all trails at Kings Gap are loop trails, so these routes connect a couple of different trails that bring you back to where you started.

Each hike’s route is marked by either yellow or orange flagging tape.

Try the 1.5 mile yellow blazed hike, or the 2.8 mile orange blazed hike.

The yellow hike starts outside the Education Building, while the orange hike starts at the mansion trail kiosk.

Bring water, dress for the weather, have appropriate footwear, and grab a map from our kiosk or ed building before you head out on the hike.
