Join park naturalist Jean H. Keene and Pennsylvania Master Naturalist Mary Jane Busch at Keystone State Park to celebrate International Day of Peace and see how seeds can symbolize peace and hope.
Meet at pavilion 1 starting at 4PM for displays and activities that are all about seeds. At 5PM, Mary Jane and Jean will lead a fun program that's all about cattails, what makes them so unique, how they're useful to people and wildlife, and how their seeds can be a great alternative for remembering a loved one, making a wish, or simply symbolizing hope.
This program is open for all ages. Participants will be able to explore seeds displays, activities, and be able to take part in hands on demonstrations.
