Celebrate the beginning of spring by planting seeds with the park naturalist! We’ll learn how to read a seed packet and understand what seeds need to grow and thrive. You’ll leave this program with a potted seed of your own to take home, and you will also be helping to fill the park’s new greenhouse! This program is great for beginner gardeners, or folks who just like to get their hands dirty. Dress for the weather. Registration is required for this program. To register, email ikuberry@pa.gov.
REMINDER: The bridge by the park office is CLOSED. To reach the park office, enter the park through Plumer. Take Rt. 227 to Petroleum Center Road. Continue on for 2 miles until you see the park office on the right. Contact 814.676.5915 for further direction if needed.
