At the Campground Amphitheater, we’ll explore the vital role of scavengers in the Commonwealth that range from microscopic bacteria and fungus to the common crow and turkey vulture. By cleaning up and recycling they accelerate the breakdown of organic material and return nutrients to the ecosystem and control the spread of disease. Inclement weather location will be the Environmental Learning Center.
