Northern saw-whet owls are beginning their migration to southern locales and some will be stopping in our area for a well-earned break! Join park staff and volunteers as we hope to capture and band saw-whet owls at Cherry Springs State Park on Saturday, October 19^th at 5:30 PM in the CCC pavilion on the Overnight Astronomy Observation Field.  After dark, participants will receive a night sky tour as our volunteers check the net traps for birds.  Please bring your own chairs and dress warm with layers.  Register for this event at http://bit.ly/CSowlbanding24.
