Join us in the East Area of the park for a salamander search! We will be searching along the stream and banks on the Mill Race Trail for all kinds of reptiles and amphibians. We will ID the species found and talk about the importance of monitoring these animals. This program is open to all ages, but please note that some areas of the trail are weedy and snakes are common. Young children must be heavily supervised by a guardian and are not recommended to stray from the trail. We will meet next to the playground to determine where we will conduct our search. Bug spray is recommended, as is long pants and close-toed shoes.
