Rocks can tell incredible stories about the landscape and its history. Join guest speaker and licensed geologist, Sim Suter, for an exploration of the unique geology of the Lehigh Gorge. We will depart from the Rockport Access to discover how the gorge’s rock formations create dramatic cascades and reveal the region’s natural past. We’ll also weave in a bit of local history as we explore this striking landscape. Sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing are recommended.
