Raptors of Tohickon Creek Gorge

***Meeting location: High Rocks Overlook Parking Area, 150 Tory Rd, Pipersville, PA 18947*** 

Celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day with a state park naturalist.We'll gather in the parking lot before making our way to an overlook providing views over the tohickon creek. From here we will scan the skies for soaring raptors, learn all about their magnificent adaptations, how important they are to our ecosystem, and take in the view!  Binoculars and bird ID books will be provided but feel free to bring your own along! 

  • Bathrooms: There is a port-o-john in the parking area.
  • What to Bring: Appropriate footwear for hiking is required. Please bring water. Binoculars (if you don't want to borrow a pair)
  • Special Considerations: All ages welcome. This is not a dog friendly program.

Program may be cancelled or altered due to heavy rain or thunderstorms.
