It is spooky season, and we are looking for the perfect pumpkin! Show off your pumpkin carving skills by entering your jack-o-lantern in our contest! Participants can enter by sending a picture of their pumpkin to the Park’s Facebook messenger. Each pumpkin picture will be posted on our Facebook page. The pumpkin with the most “liked” picture on Facebook will win "Best in Show."

Accepting Submissions:
Starting 8am Tues., 10/21 – Ending 8am Tues., 10/28

Voting post will be up on Tuesday, 10/28, and the winner will be announced Friday October 31st, at 2pm.

The Best in Show winner will receive a goody bag from Bald Eagle State Park, their picture featured on our Facebook page and in the park office, and (of course) glory.

Please note: When you submit your pumpkin picture to Bald Eagle State Park's Facebook Messenger, you are agreeing to your picture and name being posted publicly on our Facebook page. Any pumpkin carvings or photos with political affiliations, profane language, violent depictions, or that is otherwise deemed inappropriate by park staff will not be eligible for the competition.
