Pulling Together: Earth Day Invasive Species Hike

Invasive plants pose a huge threat to the biodiversity of native flora and fauna in ecosystems throughout the world. Celebrate EARTH DAY by joining your DCNR Park Naturalist for a hands on nature hike to identify local native and invasive plants along park trails and learn how we can help protect and enhance wildlife habitat. Participants are welcome to bring work gloves and clippers for some actual hands on experience battling invasive plants along the way while learning how to enhance your own back yard habitat. Registration not required. DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS PARTICIPANTS ARE LIMITED TO 25 AT A TIME WITH MASKS AND 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING.
