 The Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide is an interdisciplinary 
 environmental education curriculum focusing on wildlife. Project WILD seek
 s to guide learners of any age in developing awareness\, knowledge\, skill
 s\, and commitment resulting in informed decisions\,   responsible behavio
 r\, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment. The 
 revised WILD guide now includes Field Investigation Activities\, In Step w
 ith STEM extensions\, a WILD Work career section\, and more.\n\nThis train
 ing will certify participants as Project WILD facilitators who can offer t
 heir own Project WILD Educator Workshops. It is open to DCNR educators\, i
 nterested Commonwealth employee educators\, and any experienced educator (
 formal or non-formal) who is interested in becoming a Project WILD Facilit
 ator. Certified Facilitators must commit to leading at least one Project W
 ILD workshop every 5 years to maintain active facilitator status. This tra
 ining will be interactive\, occur both indoors and outdoors\, and particip
 ants will co-lead a Project WILD activity (all materials provided).    \n1
 1.5 Act 48 hours will be provided to PA-certified teachers. Participants m
 ust attend both days. Each participant is responsible for their own overni
 ght lodging and travel expenses. Beverages & breaks provided on both days\
