The Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide is an interdisciplinary environmental education curriculum focusing on wildlife. Project WILD seeks to guide learners of any age in developing awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment resulting in informed decisions,   responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment. The revised WILD guide now includes Field Investigation Activities, In Step with STEM extensions, a WILD Work career section, and more.

This training will certify participants as Project WILD facilitators who can offer their own Project WILD Educator Workshops. It is open to DCNR educators, interested Commonwealth employee educators, and any experienced educator (formal or non-formal) who is interested in becoming a Project WILD Facilitator. Certified Facilitators must commit to leading at least one Project WILD workshop every 5 years to maintain active facilitator status. This training will be interactive, occur both indoors and outdoors, and participants will co-lead a Project WILD activity (all materials provided).
11.5 Act 48 hours will be provided to PA-certified teachers. Participants must attend both days. Each participant is responsible for their own overnight lodging and travel expenses. Beverages & breaks provided on both days; lunch provided on day 2. Space is limited; apply now.
