Project WILD is an interdisciplinary environmental education curriculum that focuses on wildlife. This workshop is open to all educators who work with students from grades K-12: formal teachers, homeschool parents, naturalists, scout leaders, and others!
Participants have the opportunity to earn 4.5 Act 48 hours while experiencing hands-on activities related to wildlife. Project WILD activities help develop awareness, skills, and knowledge resulting in informed decisions and responsible behavior regarding wildlife and the environment. Participants will receive the updated K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide which now offers STEM activity extensions, field investigation activities, a WILD WORK career section and Outdoor Components. Be sure to bring a sack lunch and dress for outdoor fun!
Registration is required through the DCNR Event Calendar by September 22, 2023. Once you register online, ensure you receive a confirmation email. The workshop fee can be paid by calling Bald Eagle State Park at 814-625-2775 and paying via card over the phone or in-person at the park office.
