Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation & environmental education curriculum that focuses on wildlife & habitat for students K-12. Lessons seek to develop awareness, knowledge, skills, & commitment in students to promote informed decisions, responsible behavior, & constructive actions concerning the environment. This workshop is open to both formal & non-formal educators, including pre-service teachers (those still working toward their degree), homeschoolers, & scout leaders. We will pay particular focus on hands-on activities and how to incorporate them into the new STEELS standards. Attendees will receive the award-winning Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide.
