 g world of bats with the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) and the Depart
 ment of Conservation and Natural Resources during an immersive two-day pro
 fessional development workshop focused on bat ecology\, management\, and r
 esearch in Pennsylvania. Designed for K-12 formal and nonformal educators\
 , this hands-on experience blends authentic field science with classroom-r
 eady resources.\n\n \n\nParticipants will explore interactive\, inquiry-ba
 sed lessons and outdoor activities that can be adapted for a wide range of
  grade levels and learning environments. Day one of the workshop culminate
 s in an exciting evening field session\, where participants will join PGC 
 biologists to mist net bats and learn firsthand about the research and con
 servation efforts happening across the state.\n\n \n\nEach participant wil
 l receive the award-winning Project WILD K–12 Curriculum & Activity Guid
 e along with practical strategies for bringing wildlife science into their
