Designed for K-12 formal and nonformal educators, this hands-on experience blends authentic field science with classroom-ready resources.

Participants will explore interactive, inquiry-based lessons and outdoor activities that can be adapted for a wide range of grade levels and learning environments. Day one of the workshop culminates in an exciting evening field session, where participants will join PGC biologists to mist net bats and learn firsthand about the research and conservation efforts happening across the state.

Each participant will receive the award-winning Project WILD K–12 Curriculum & Activity Guide along with practical strategies for bringing wildlife science into their teaching. Step into the nighttime world of bats and discover new ways to bring their story to life!
