PLT’s flagship curriculum Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Collection includes 50 hands-on, multidisciplinary activities to connect children to nature and increase young people's awareness and knowledge about their environment. Activities include detailed step-by-step instructions, academic correlations, time & material requirements, and corresponding student worksheets with green career connections. 

Join Grey Towers staff and DCNR State Parks Environmental Educators for a day of forest-based learning at the home of America’s first chief of the US Forest Service and two-time Pennsylvania Governor. This is one workshop you won’t want to miss!  

All participants will receive a copy of the PLT Explore Your Environment: K-8 Activity Collection, a tour of Grey Towers, light refreshments, and 5.5 ACT 48 hours for Pennsylvania certified teachers. Pack your own lunch.
